Road to pedestrians, cyclists, and summits reserved for all soft modes

The last 1km before reaching the summit of Mount Ventoux via the north and south sides is exceptionally and temporarily closed. From 8 am to 12 pm between Monslan Station and Chalet Reynard, cyclists and pedestrians can enjoy the route alone.

Please note that you must use the route via Maroseine to arrive at Monslan Station and enjoy all the activities by noon. There is a parking lot for 1,000 cars at Monserein Station, where you can park your car.

Animations and initiations for everyone

Many activities, initiations, or sports workshops are available from the mountains to the entire family from 10 am to 6 pm. Most of these are free.

  • Bicycle rental (charged)
  • Repairer’s stand, local bike manufacturer and its accessories
  • Tubing (Slope descent with large buoy-payment)
  • Deval cart (downhill slope using cart-charged)
  • Trampoline and inflatable structure
  • Climbing a tree
  • Ride a horse or pony (charged)
  • Hiking departure
  • Starting point for mountain bike, gravel and road bike rides (individual or group departures at all levels)
  • Discovery of biathlon by laser rifle shooting, “run and shoot”
  • Activities centered on balance bikes for 2/5 years old
  • First flight and paragliding demonstration (if the weather is nice-paid)

These activities are provided by Monserein Resort as part of the first weekend of the summer season and by a departmental sports service that distributes information about Vaucluse’s outdoor sports.

The site also hosts other partners who oversee the various activities offered to visitors. Veloc-Sud, Cicada, Ekoi, Egobike, Team Sports 84, Fan de Lune, Vaucluse Division Hiking Commission, Ventoux Outdoor Experience, Social Center the Espelido and Stone Path.

A breathtaking acrobatic show

BMX, small wheels (rollers, scooters) and thrill lovers can appreciate the unique performance of the “Starlight Show” team, which has crossed Europe for over 20 years. Several times during the day, demonstrations and free shows of acrobatics (stepping stones, ramps, people on the ground, passages in the fire) will allow you to discover these extreme sports disciplines and the feats of professional riders. It attracts all generations with its dangerous appearance. Each pass guarantees a thrill of at least 20 minutes!

Between each show, more adventurous people (5 to 16 years old) can learn about BMX, rollerblades and scooters thanks to a certified instructor who accompanies them completely safely.

Between the two activities, participants can visit the stands of various partners who have come to share this beautiful day in the heart of nature. Events, information and meetings not to be missed:

  • Vaucluse Division Council for Information Dissemination
  • COVE for information dissemination, mediation activities for sorting and waste management, two stations, relaxation area, exhibition about Land Art facilities
  • Montvantu Regional Natural Park for information dissemination, fire protection awareness, children’s games
  • Vaucluse Provence attractions and local tourist offers, especially presentations around cycling
  • Ventoux Provence Intercommunal Tourist Office with information dissemination, activity reservations (online tickets), and prize-winning quizzes

The event’s partners, the municipalities of Maroseine and Bedouin, have contributed significantly to the success of the event.

Local products and catering area

Some restaurants and snack bars serve food and drinks from 10 am to 6 pm to eat after exercising or simply to discover local products.

Rediscover Vantu

For nature lovers and Provence giants, free activities are offered from 10 am to 6 pm not only for flora and fauna but also for environmental protection.

  • Scientific Observation Workshop “In the position of Jean-Henri Fabre, observe biodiversity as Vantu did before you.”
  • Observation of species present in Ventoux, especially large mammals
  • Discovery of Vaucluse plants
  • Guided walk
  • Discovery of sensitive natural areas active in animal footprints

These exhibitions, workshops and dissemination of information will be provided at the Vaucluse Provincial Assembly, National Forestry Department, Naturoptère, Ventoux Magazine (for sale only) and the stands of Crédit Agricolede Vaison-la-Romaine.
