Semeak. WHO between evaluation and mobilization and call for action

The 5th General Assembly of Municipal Sports Office 2021/2022 was held in early July.

As a result of the pandemic, sports and non-sport activities were reduced in all sections of the Seméac Olympics from January to March. Events are prohibited during this period.

Due to the existence of this fifth year, actions have been time-limited in consideration of the situation.

Only 7 out of 15 programmed lots could be organized.

Meanwhile, the black and white evening and the “Award Trophy” were successful.

Fragile finances.

The fiscal year of the section is modeled on the sports year from January 1st to December 31st and the sports year from June 1st to May 31st of the following year. Analysis shows that WHO is in good financial position in the section, but remains vulnerable to increased living costs, operating costs (federal commitment, arbitration in certain sections), and very distant competition in the new Occitanie region. Can be concluded. Related shipping costs.

Section licensee.

There is little change in the workforce that has begun to rise after a significant decline in 2019. By winning the signatures of many young licensees, only the football section continues to improve.

Random participation.

Members of the WHO office have found it very difficult to involve the residents of Semeak and the licensees who make up the various sections of the organized event.

Some explanation for this situation:

The covid period changed certain behaviors.

Receipts are half-mast because the nature of the event inevitably targets different generations who are not interested and are not interested. Clubs and villages are always built in harmony with the sports sector, and at WHO members want to unite for imaginative and innovative events. The analysis is not clear, as we can only expect more than 200 people (with some exceptions) to participate in Seméac.

Continuation of action.

The Municipal Sports Office has endeavored to continue to act on a variety of mandatory and other administrative paths. Next season, we will continue to host new management of Rotos and GQS, PSC1 training, and events.

About my work at Leo Lagrange.

Within a few months, at the end of June 2023, work will be done at the Leola Grande Center, confusing the organization of certain sections. Scheduled over a period of (at best) a year, we need to stick together so that each section can pass through this period. There is no possibility of grouping for lottery, demonstrations, competition, training in these spaces. There is an urgent need to find a solution in each section. Time flies.

The town is a welcome place for many associations. Modern facilities, and more specifically athlete-only facilities, are praised by clubs, who are trampling the grounds at various competitions. This was noticed on June 18th with the start of the “Root Kushitani” cycling race, which attracted a large number of people. This dynamics needs to be perpetuated so that the section of the Seméac Olympics can live with the same strong will from everyone, preferably in the present and in the future, proud of the colors of black and white.

thanks to:

-Mayor of the municipality, Deputy Representative of Bernard Ducor Sports.

-Involve former municipalities, as they always understand that the dynamics of municipalities, the quality of relationships, are built with associations, especially their athletes.

-To ALS for Lotosplus preparation and investment in searching for innovative events.

-Presidents and licensees participating in the life of the section, not only the staff of the municipal technical services who are always listening to us, but also volunteers, “women and men in the shadows”, without them There is nothing. Possible and to members of the WHO office for the work done.
